View Full Version : Went to see Twilight this afternoon
...Sophie wanted to see it. What a bizarre film! A modern take on vampires. I was a bit worried that S would be frightened but no. Brilliant cinematography, excellent direction. Just the plot's a bit wierd.
saw it last week...takes a bit to get going but ok for a girlie film

ghey, it's for angsty teenagers and is the worst series of films ever made and should be burned along with everyone who thinks a vampire has a shiny chest in sunlight instead of bursting into flames like they dam well should. That is all

You make a fair point......however wud kinda change the story line if the main character burst into flames in the first 10 mins of the film

yes but it would make the film better, i downloaded it for my mum cause she wanted to watch it and caught bits and it just don't make sense, vampires are sposed to feed off humans not date em and it's set a new trend of vampires they not as scary as they used to be.

My missus was given a Twilight calendar for xmas and she says she's gonna put it up in the bedroom!
I need to get a MotoGP umbrella girls calendar or something to counteract its evil vibes.

haha, calendar, now what do they do again, i kinda just guess the date and hope i right most times.
I quite liked the film in the end
*pmsl*, so the Twilight vamps are politically correct? I'm a vamp fan but SO do not get the hype over those books...and definitely not watching the movie, the first book (ok, the first few pages) were absolute dribble...

To be honest I thought the first 3 quarters was drivel, then at the end it livened up a bit. I'm sticking with them for a while longer anyway, need to know what all the fuss is about. As for the films, I haven't seen them, but have been told they're actually a very close interpretation of the books?
The Only Nemesis, I think the whole scariness of the vamps in the books are definitely portrayed at the end of the first one anyway.

Couldn't agree more...
Vampires look like Keifer Sutherland or Christopher Lee. They DO NOT SPARKLE!
