Hi everyone, im Les from North Wales. Been reading posts on the site for a few days now in anticipation of picking up my new black SV650S on 6th Jan.

This seems a really friendly forum with lots of good advice and help.

Already got a tail tidy to fit to the bike when i get it, and im contemplating a slip on can, but not sure which one to get. Looking at either a fuel or a beowulf at the moment.

I also own a couple of other bikes too, i have a Kwacker ER6F which has full luggage fitted (my touring bike), and a Buell XB12S firebolt (my scary bike).

This is going to be a very long weekend now waiting for tuesday to come around!

Les

Hi Les,

Welcome to the site, it's REALLY useful! I've had my K8 since July last year and have had loads of good advice on here!

I have a 3rd hand R&G tail tidy for sale here => http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=123249 if you're interested.

Hi

Welcome to the site.

I have been here for about the last 18 months (I joined when I was a newbie) and everyone is very friendly and helpful. I have had a lot of good advise and a lot of support.

I too got a tail tidy (Hamicad) and it looks great. Also got a single seat cowl which is the business as it keeps the kids off the back.

As far as exhausts go, I got a Fuel stainless steel one a couple of months ago (in the sale) and they could not have been more helpful. Thoroughly recommended. It looks pretty good and sounds good. It sounds even better with the baffle out but it is not technically road-legal. Last time I looked the sale was still on so you could do a lot worse. Try here for some pics http://www.fuelexhausts.com/Gallery_detail.cfm?iSubBrandIDPK=41&iBrandIDPK=6

Whatever you get I hope you enjoy your new bike. My 650S K3 is my first big bike and I absolutely love it. I just wish it would warm up a bit so I can get back out on it again.

All the best and ride safely.

Stradders.

Yeah, but if you can get past that it's not a bad place to be.
