Today was the day that I finally collected the DRZ. Wow.

I hadn't done a test ride so didn't know what to expect. But blimey, that was fun! Can't wait for it to be run in, it'll be so much better than it already is!

Couple of pictures attached. I did most of the cleaning, but Mr Lou finished with the hose pipe.

Have to say, he took me over to collect, I was dreading going pillion, but actually enjoyed it! The Transalp is great for pillions.

I am lucky, I'm 5 foot 8, but also carry a bit too much weight, so my weight tends to pull down the suspension. Absolutely no problems, feet almost fully on the floor.

What a hoot! Want to go out again tomorrow.

definitely look better in yellow;)

first on the list is a james dean jet kit from the USA, and a full yoshi exhaust system if you can take the volume, transforms the throttle response and makes it feel like a different bike

can't help but plug my own DRZ for sale here, link in my sig:D

You will have so much fun on it. I love supermotads. Costs hardly anything to insure and a few hours on an outdoor cart track will have you in awe of the angles of lean you can get.

Evie still has to wait till March, the shop is going to look after the bike for us, but I managed to get a key for her!

Stayed in today to sort out loft as I have some trailee boots up there and some winter trousers, which also needed sewing, so felt that sacrificing a day on the sewing machine would be beneficial.

Will certainly be riding it to work this week.

No knobbly tyres, Hovis, as it's the road version, but some half way tyres will soon be ordered, along with hand guards.

Still, Woohoo!!!

I really want a DRZ, but just can't swing one at the moment. Never really liked the blue before, but I have to say that looks the nuts!

If you wish to take installments, I'll be down there tomorrow!

Obviously 0% as DRZ's are these days.....

These bikes are very nickable so be careful matey. I know someone who had his nicked (then recovered) so he locked it in his house and the feckers kicked in his door and nicked it again.

Jet kit? Oh yes!!!
FMF pipe? Oh yes!!!

You think they're awesome on the road. Try it cross country (with some appropriate tyres of course) It'll pull your arms off!!!
