Booked our honeymoon today!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D So excited i want to go now!!!!! :rolleyes:

Going to the Dominican Republic and this will be my first ever beach holiday, in a hotel (always been in a carvan or tent)..... wooooo can't wait :cheers:

Dominican Republic, my parents went there last year, said it was fantastic, from the vids and pics i seen it did look rather spectacular, sure you;ll both have an amazing time.

It is very poor though outside the hotel complexes so don't be surprised to see a few shanty towns with some squalid conditions. If you are going on any excursions and will be visiting any villages take a load of cheap pens and paper pads for the local kids.

Dominican Republic is fantastic you will have a great time, and the beaches are some of the best ive ever seen. Make sure to take a lot of sun cream though! :D
