Correct :)
If you get the fixing kit with the K7, then there'll be 1 extra part in the pack that you won't need to use. (Its like a piece of U shaped metal that goes at the side of the radiators. K4 and before, the fairing fixes straight to the rad. from K5 onwards, the smaller rad means the U shaped bracket acts as a secure 'infill' for the fairing to fix onto.)
My K5 has the original rad, and I use a U shaped infill on my lowers.

Note to self... proof read what I've typed out before I click submit :p
It should have read, 'from K5 onwards'... not K6 :p

£99 for new fairings!?!
That was a bargain! You should've got 'em :(
I paid £200 for my replacement fairings with the fixing kit, and that was only by chance when a shop had ordered all their bikes with the fairings, and most of the bikes were sold without the fairings.
Some places I came across wanted £250 for second-hand fairings that had a slight scuff on them, and they weren't even in the colour I was after!
I think I paid 430 quid for mine brand new when I rebuilt mine after crashing.

I can offer some shelf-space in my garage for these if you got them.
Then, you can just arrange someone to get them from me to you.
Oh, and you would be doing me a favour, I would like to have a good look at a set of SV fairings off the bike.

Motosliders, doesn't matter which ones you fit the position of lower fairings will still leave them damaged.

Well appears this guy is taking the mick, I have called him and all he did was try to sell me other bits to the SV, when I asked him about the fairings he was vague and talked dribble saying he wasnt selling himself and would have to ask his friend.
I have told him I will defo buy them but he said he had to call me back. So 2 days later still waiting for the call. Text him, called him, emailed him - still no answer.
When I asked him if he would deliver he said yes, at the end of the conversation he insisted on payment on collection ?????
Just looked at his feedback on ebay and he had other feedback saying "guy did not want to sell item".
This guy is well dodgy, do I buy the fairings I want hoping they exist or stay well clear. For someone that wants to sell something he doesn't know where they are, if they having fitting kit or won't tell me where in London he is so I can arrange collection.

OK do K8 fairings fit on k4, will I be able to use my old fixing kit on ther K8's.
I assume K7 and K8 are the same so the answer will be yes. Have someone messing me about and have now given me the option to buy them although he is playing me about saying I cant have them now I can I think I will take the chance. (if they will fit)

As far as I know the fairings from K3 onwards all fit , there may have been a slight difference in fitting kits though but you will already have the parts you need from old fairing , I`m pretty sure that is the case (there was only one bracket slightly different and I think it was something to do with the Rad on the K3 being wider , I may be wrong)
