Don't use their 'secure' website ( www.studentfinancedirect.co.uk ) on a computer anyone else could use. I've logged out about 10 times tonight, and it still thinks I'm logged in.

UCAS have put up warnings about using IE with their site and recommend changing your browser - maybe that has something to do with it.
Either that or it 'recognises' you on that computer... have you tried accessing it from somewhere else?

Hang on...

... what am I thinking...

... just hit it with a hammer until it agrees with you.

hehe. I'm using firefox, and I've hit no 'save my details' options.

Just thought i'd put it out there as a warning; simply because you need to put your life story on there for a loan!

3.8% interest at the mo ;)

But you are still accruing interest.

Work pay for my uni, and I get paid to go there (they even buy me a KFC (SV!) ;))

Not the same as full time uni I imagine, although I seem to do as many hours of lectures in one day than some of my full time friends do in a week...go figure!?! I tend to think I did it the right way round by not having debt at the end etc but can't help thinking that I'm missing out on the proper uni experience! :(

G2D - Clear the cache on the machine (cookies in all that). Its just another example of their shoddy programming, I offered to fix some of their problems for them in return all I asked was that they canceled my debt. They haven't taken me up on that offer yet.

But the 3% for me has made me smile. It looks like I might actually start to make a dent into the capital this year, may end up taking less then the 26 years I calculated it at last time.

AFAIK it's PAYE, so you probably just haven't noticed.

Perfectamondo  That worked thanks.

It kept me logged in for 3 hours until I did that. Each time I hit 'log out' it assured me I was logged out

Safe as houses... literally ;)

No I work on our payrol system at work and we get a notification from the tax office to tell us to start taking the money, and then shows as a different element, on our payslips as i've seen other people's pay records which show deductions........

Wait just found my statement from end of 2008, says they should start deducting April 2009........ why so long

Sorry a bit off topic.........

Yup I get robbed every month for mine, now pay back about £125/month, same as the bike loan dam it!

Yeah I need to get mine sorted out, as at one point they said I owed about £7500, now I owe something like £9500 get that they just add extra onto mine, WTf where did that come from? Maybe if I gave them guns, they shoot each other and that would be the end of my problem, what ya think?
