it seems the isle of wight is the only force willing to publish the stats, probably because they're so low

makes sense when you see the three most pressing issues out "safer neighbourhoods" team has to deal with:

# To reduce dog fouling along the coastal paths and Lake slipway.
# To respond to concerns about cycling on the revetment.
# To respond to concerns about the lack of a right turn in Whitecross Avenue / Newport Road.

hardly drug fuel gangland killings now is it:rolleyes:

Sounds like bliss compared to where I live!
I was up on Dartmoor a few years ago having a picnic with the familly. Along came local Plod who wandered over for a chat. No problem with that at all. We got chatting about the differences between our "beats". Mine, Salford and Trafford, his, Dartmoor. His idea of a busy night was parking in a large village and hoping more than one car came through! Then he upset me by pointing out that he gets the same money as me for doing feck all! Git!!

The Met one is rubbish - only tells you totals and puts you in a band - seems I'm in a bad place for personal robbery and burglary, which would be about right as I have been mugged and burgled in the last 5 years.......

How do I get to the good stats Shell

gotta love year on year comparisons. I spend all day looking at exactly this sort of stuff, and then explaining to management exactly why the comparisons arent worth the paper they are written on for operational policing.

love it!
