That's me :smt040
Mrs. Svrich gave birth to mini-svrich number two at 6.42 this morning. Everything went very smoothly and little Emily is fantastic. Our first came 5 weeks early (and in 27 minutes!) as my wife had pre-eclampsia (sp?). It was touch and go for a couple of weeks. But this time everything went very well and only two days early. We got home by 4pm and are still buzzing from the whole experience. Toby is coming home tomorrow so it will be interesting to see how he reacts (15 month old). He kept climbing on my wife and kissing her tummy, so I think he'll be fine with it all.
My wife said neither of the off-spring can have a bike. But I've got about 16 years to work on that one
One very happy new dad singing off for as much sleep as possible before the next feed.
Good night.

Congrats! More sleepless nights to look forward to though (but you know this already).

My other half said similar. Now the eldest keeps talking about getting his own gear & coming on rideouts with me (9 years old), the middle one (8 years old) isn't too fussed either way, and the youngest (4 years old) climbs on the bike any chance he can get. The youngest also threw a strop when I refused to take him faster than 30mph (wearing borrowed kit)!!

The kids will grow up around bikes, and it'll be natural to them, your other half won't have much say in it.

Well done!! It is a fantastic time. Makes me think of Sophie's arrival - a bit different as we adopted her, but every bit as exciting.

Thanks everyone.
Thry eye bags are here already! Only had about 6 hours sleep in the last two days (What a pair of lungs ). But my wife has had less so I shan't complain too much.

They'll be more like suitcases rather than bags by the end of the week ;)

welldone mate, wish you many happy years of childrens tv brainwashing!

svrich

Already brainwashed!! I love Saturday morning kids TV, sad I know.
Thank you all for your kind words of congratulations and support. Emily is feeding very well and mum is recovering too. Toby came home this morning form my parents and went straight to Emily to give her a cuddle and kiss, without being prompted to. More tears to add to the rest, I'll dehydrate at this rate!
On the bike front, Toby loves sitting on mine so the seed has been planted :) and Emily is currently sat on my lap helping me to write this (advanced I know! ;))
Thank you all again,
Richard, Rachel, Toby and Emily.
