Recent work - Scopion street extreme; renthal wide bars; puig smoke screen; crome headlight; undertray with led indicators;

To do - Smaller numberplate (ordered); decent tyres (In the summer!); Bellypan (eventually if a cheap one comes up)

Excuse the dirt - Can't seem to keep it clean in this weather!

Just got them on eaby - cheap!

The original undertray is underneath the red one as it extends all the way to the battery compartment. The light unit comes away seperatley

Can you tell me which Renthalls you put on and if you needed to alter any cable routing or anything...

Belly pan would finish that off nicely.
I love modded nakeds, i don't think stock ones look nice though.

Mine is pretty much stock at the moment.
Not for too long though as I have a box of parts getting fuller by the day....:)

same as, i have a blue pointy, ermax belly pan, seat cowl ans hugger, the undertray as well, same as yours, cant really see the indicatirs from behind, also since fitting the regulatior one whole side of bikes indicators goes faster than other side, do you experience this and my street extreme sounds sweet too

the link is here (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360050951344). Its an ebay item but i didn't do a great deal of price comparrison. They are wider than the stock and on full lock they make the bike rev (not too much and i rarely use full lock) For the MOT i will just move the controls in.

have been thinking about it but are they really worth the money?

Well YC's the one to ask seeing as i don't have a bike, however I know he doesn't regret having in the least. The last two people who turned up at his house without scottoilers both said they wanted and were planning to get one. So yes get one if you can afford, they're about £70-£90 I think? Don't quote me on that... then you can be sure your chain ain't rusting behind your back!

Im Indoors got a scottoiler last year for xmas for the raptor.....still hasn't fitted it. I like the idea of one, but can't be arsed with the hassle of cleaning the back wheel every two minutes from the fling. They do create a lot it AFAIK.
Old toothbrush...freeeee
Elbow Grease...freeee
Stingy git I am ;-) with polished rims :-)

Ahh cleaning, not exactly a problem for YC :-D Anyway, surely too much oil is better than none at all? And any excess just flies off when the bike gets going anyway.

Theres never too little oil on my chain, I;ve learnt to keep a very good eye on it, learnt the hard way a lot over this year, since YC kindly helped Suzy back to health:cool:
Yes it does fling off....all over your wheel. But it flings what it needs off in the first run after doing it. I much prefer to clean off the excess once after oiling the chain than every trip, like with a scotoiler. But then I must be a weirdo for not wanting one

I would recommend a Scotoiler if you are doing lots of mileage.

The reason being, fling and muck aside, a chain / sprocket set can last up to three times longer with a Scotoiler which means that one chain and sprocket set being replaced will pay for the cost of the Scotoiler.

If however I didn't commute (which I soon won't be) then I probably wouldn't have it on there.
