Hi all,

After much deliberation it's time for the bike to go.
History:
I brought it off of Ben Mills about a 7 months, it's got lots of service history including the original PDI forms etc. I've done 2 oil changes since I've had it and a new one will be done before sale.
The engine wasn't looked after by Mr Ben Mills (ran out of oil) and was replaced, I had this inspected by a very trusted mechanic of mine who said all is in order and having ridden it for the last 3000 miles of it's life I have no reason to suspect otherwise.

Since I have owned the bike it's been in an accident. I came off it completely my fault, no other vehicles involved. It damaged the front fairings, the tank, clip on and rearset on the drivers side. The bike was FULLY stripped down of engine and all so I could inspect the frame for any damage, the frame was unscathed other than a few minor marks on the factory paint so the bike was fully re-assembled with freshly greased bearings etc. I have covered 800 miles since.

Although the front end appeared to have no impact damage what so ever on re-assembly I noticed that the front forks were bent. I then replaced the entire front end with one that I brought off of SVRash from the org. I payed 625 great british pounds for it and it has transformed the feeling of the bike. I will add a link to the forsale thread on here later when I have found it which displays exactly what I have on the bike.

I brought some fairings off of eBay which included the tank to fit the bike, they're in a lovely bright purple colour with gold fleck in the paint. I brought them at first to re-paint but after spending a couple of weeks riding it I found out that it really didn't bother me, I got seen more by other motorists and all the locals soon realised who it was coming down the road.

I brought a second hand pair of Gilles rearsets designed for a SRAD which fit fine and have a remarkable feel to them.

The bike was re-assembled after an oil change and valve clearance check to what it is now.

Sale is legitimate and is to fund a business venture building track cars (if you know anyone interested let me know).

Spec:
2002 Suzuki SV650S
Engine is standard.
Renegade dual underseat exhaust system with stubbied cans.
Renegade airbox kit which includes larger jets, aluminium bellmouths and modified airbox.
Miniture indicators all round.
Smoked rear light.
lower fairings (not fitted but painted matching the purple).
GSXR750 front end with braking wavey discs, TLR clip-ons, oxford heated grips.
Upgraded Horn.
Datatool System 3
AlphaDot system.
Purple fairings with gold fleck. Black powdercoated wheels.
Large amount of service history and owned by an enthusiast(me) for the last 7 months.

As it stands now it is SORN'd and not got an MOT, it ran out about a month ago and I haven't been using it due to the bad weather. I can put a years MOT onto the bike and arrange for 6 months tax as well if a serious offer is made.

Also up for sale with it is an Abba stand with fitting kit to suit the bike (please note that the stand was originally for a ZXR400 but has since been adapted on my lathe to fit the SV650S).

I am open to serious offers on this, the bike has been looked after alot by me with countless nights spent in the garage cleaning parts up etc and regular servicing being number one priority. The bike has truely taught me how to ride a motorcycle properly and has been great fun to ride around over the summer months. It will be sad to see it go but a new chapter is ahead.

Viewing is by appointment only and I would highly recommend coming in a car as my remote position makes reaching me in these weather conditions pretty hard.

Contact me through pm or by email.

Photo's will be up later in the week when the weather is a bit better.
The bike is located in West Sussex near Haywards Heath.

Many Thanks

Daniel Elias

I'll get pictures up later in the week, as for now I have some old ones in my photobucket account http://s38.photobucket.com/albums/e147/DanEli1990/
I'd like £1600 ideally but I'm open to serious offers and I don't really know what they're worth now. I know I payed more than that 7 months ago and countless more since.

Are you willing to sell the abba stand seperatly, and if so, how much?

The Abba stand won't go until the bike has to be honest. If the buyer does not want to pay an extra £50 for the stand then I'll sell it on here.

bump.
for those who were watching the thread I was mucked about by a potential buyer and have since been busy with work.
The bike is still up for sale for £1500ono.. I need it gone and if someone makes a decent offer it will go.
It's been garaged all the time I've had it and will come with a new tank protector (not fitted, so the new buyer can see the zip scratches on the tank) and also now includes the Abba in that price.
Pictures will be up in the next couple of days, I washed it ready for pickup two weeks ago and it's been sitting in the garage since so I'll dust it off and get pics up asap.
Many Thanks

Daniel

Bargain that.
you have no idea... I've spent an arm and a leg on this bike, spent many hours covered in grease in the garage etc... it's a shame to see it go, it's got to go though.
Many Thanks

pics are here.

I just thought I'd point out some obvious things that are wrong, it only has one wing mirror, I have a new pair to fit as the originals were previously damaged. The clocks are held in place with a cable tie, this is due to the black casing being damaged at the back.. it's not hindered their performance and they are the original clocks. I was going to buy a set off of eBay and re-case them but it has not bothered me so I haven't bothered replacing them.
The crash protectors aren't fitted, this again is due to my laziness to be honest, they are there and will be fitted for the buyer, they are black and located on the metal bars on the outside of the frame in the middle bolt holes.
It has no clock surround, this was also damaged in the accident, I haven't replaced it as again, it doesn't bother me. If it does you there is one on ebay for £35 atm...
I have shown up in detail the scratches on the tank, these would easily be covered by a tank protector, but as can be seen are well hidden in most lights..
Also in detail are the exhausts, this is to show that at the minute they are carbon sleeved, but these sleeves have cracks in, this is from me bungee cording things around them a bit to vigerously.. The bike can be fitted with the original brushed aluminum sleeves if required.. they are also stubby cut so look the same just... silver.
Any questions please ask, this is a bargain at this price, and would do someone a great bike for the coming spring and summer.

I'm being really honest about this as I really feel that people should know it's past and be happy with the bike.

Hi,
for those that are interested it is still forsale. I'm open to serious offers on this, just push one forward and I'll reply.
I'm willing to TAX/MOT it at the end of the month (to fit in with pay day) for the buyer and also sort any of the "issues" that offend the buyer. Just make serious offers guys, or even cheaky ones...
Many Thanks

Dan

righty people, it's still for sale. I've not been chasing a sale but now has come the time that it really needs to be gone. Make an offer someone and see what happens.
Willing to put 12 months MOT on it and 6 months tax for the buyer.
Many Thanks
Dan
