Apparently it's a throwback to being able to move your ears like a cat. Maybe I'm genetically more primitive... so no one is allowed to wake me from my cat naps!

When I put my hands flat together I can then bend out the palms to 90 degrees, and I can wiggle nearly all my fingers and thumbs separately. Not just move them, but get the knuckles to move around. Really spooky:D

ahhh well if we're going to get like that.......I can do that too
I can sit on the floor and twist my knees at a right angle to the sides, I can also lay flat on my tummy and rotate my left hip so I can almost touch my head...years ago I coould bend my spine enough to put both feet flat next to my ears, whilst balancing on my chest. I can bend my little fingers right back and can touch my wrist with my thumb, and I'm known as monkey feet in my house.:takeabow:
