nah, during the summer I had a small hole in one of the airpipes...everytime I went down throttle it popped and banged like a git...was amusing for a short while but then got really annoying. Its not as bad as that time, but I does a kinda of muffled one on a gear change now..so either the carbs need a balance (as I fell off a while back it may have something to do with it) or my bikes doooomed..lol

oh and you notice it more as the can is so hi up near your earholes..hehe

On my last dealer service, they managed to forget to put the PAIR tube back on the front cylinder. Every now and then I'd get a backfire like a shotgun going off, loud enough to leap me out of the seat, even at motorways speeds.

Unfortunately it was fairly random. If I could do it at will, I'd be tempted not to put it back on

I can do this on mine, by accelerating to 34 in 3rd and then rolling off. Bangs everytime. Makes boring town traffic more fun.

it was cool, but like DB said was annoying, all the way home every time you let off the gas just let out a stream of bangs with flames :)
