I'm sure it will, which makes me realise i'm doing the right thing storing my bikes away every winter, but if it's your only form of transport then fully understandable that you need to ride all year round.......for me,roll on march.

I know as brits we go on about rain, and i can't think of many places with as much year round crap weather as us, we don't get it thaaat much!
Hopefully the snow won't come back (i can't believe i'm saying that :() and we'll have riding weather for 9 months!

for the last four years I've travelled to and from work at silly o clock in the morning at this time of year, bike only. I've not really ever had a problem with the weather before xmas, but this time I found it to be far worse in november than ever before. I've never left the bike at home in November. I'm glad I wasn;t on nights before xmas as it wasn't very pleasant. I'm glad i'm not at work until April this time either, although so far through January its not that bad. Usually i pack up the bike around february if i'm working. Its only usually around 6 weeks that its not at work with me. Averagely between the end of Jan to the beginning of March.

I never mentioned the rain... I honestly dont mind rain because rain means the weather is at least reasonably warm. ha ha.
I think for next year im going to try and get a winter run around. The Ape is holding up well with the weathering but id still rather it didnt have to even put up with it.

well the tiles aren't lifting on the roof quite yet, but the bike cover is billowing about like a deflated hot air balloon, poor SRX it won;t fit in the shed with the others
it is very windy, but not that windy...... yet ;-)

Its ment to get better not worse tonight? Hope so im travelling home tomorrow :-?
Heavy rain and gales here. Better than the snow shower earlier this afternoon. I was freezing, hadn't anticipated sharp drop in temp and was underdressed and damn cold, had my vented summer gloves on too. All for nothing as it turned out:rolleyes:

I do have to watch the weather tomorrow. Its supposedly going to be a bit on the wintry shower side in the morning, as long as it doesn't carry on in the afternoon, I'll be fine. i washed the bike yesterday and I don;t want salt over it, as its got an appointment with YCs garage for a bit of an ar$se end makeover. I know its wintry at the beginning of the week here, but I'm not bothered as the powdercoaters will have the rear sub for a few days. Just means I'm bikeless. :-(

Oh dear... Bloody weather is stiking again. Very high chance of heavy snow, right over my days off. FFS... I need a crosser tbh. :(
So lets hope this very cold spell only lasts no days... but no seriously, as short a time as possible.

yep i used to love sledging
it was ok today the roads were nice and dry and the temperature was cool but not freezing if it wasnt for the strategically placed diesel spill's on a certain roundabout it'd been perfect bike weather.

And for the days I get off... Sigh.
I was in Liverpool today. Couldn't you tell, I spent more time on here:D It was so cold, horrid east wind coming out of West Yorkshire;) I did think of a walk down to the river at lunchtime but turned back sharpish. The cold snap is only meant to last a few days though:D

I just rang the Met office for a weather report on base... Oh dear. Sunday, light snow, ~2cm settled. Sunday night into monday morning ~7-8CM settled. Monday night to Tuesday morning is when the majority will fall. Oh bugger I think.
So there might be 6"+ Also because the weather wont pick up and warm up it'll be about for a while. SIGH!
Oh I also found out that Fylingdales is about 900Ft.
