Hi all, I bought myself a PC for the SV. Its got a 3/4 system, Laser Xtreme (The twin high rise one) and want to get a proper map for it, im using a BSM twin highrise map as they are similar but would rather match map to exhaust. Running a K&N filter aswell btw. Want to get it to a dyno but want a base map to work on. Cheers lads

Have look on the PC website if you havnt already.

However dont worry about getting a base map for when you take it to the dyno, he will get the most out of it from whatever.

I have same bike/laser system and it runs just fine without a re-map, Tho i dont have a PCIII due to the fact they arent much cop on the SV (the SV isnt restricted much so gains are very minimal...if any) they only good for changing the map from home on a sv really.

I'd diss the expensive PCIII, save your cash and just have it dyno'd to smooth out any snatchiness and sort out fuel issues (if anything may be running slightly rich)

just my 2p
regards

Amp

BTW......blurry nice bike !

Laser doesn't flow much different to stock headers from what I've heard. Same with K+N filter, it's more a washable replacement than a performance mod. But I don't know much about the pointy ones...

+ 1, get the bike on a dyno. It may possibly need a little tweak to the OEM ECU but I doubt it.
