Went and bought a new tent for the AR yestedray and got a foldaway table and chairs (surprisingly stable) and had a little practice last night, got the camping stove out and eat and drank under the stars...

Those tables fold down to the size of a large briefcase. I was thinking the Stove would be even more awkard.
Buying any more Gazebo's?

NO
I lost two last year, £80 down the drain.. (OK so it was my own fault for not putting them during the day while we were out..)
Planning on coming in the car and renting a trailer for the bike, we'll have the dogs with us again plus the other two dogs we got this year, they won't fit on the bike

I think there was a few things that got ripped down cos of the weather at last years AR09.

You had AR09 last year, without me - how dare you? That's being greedy, considering you'd already had AR08 as well.
Will you be having another AR09 again this year?

Maybe a AR09.5, it was for the good of the org not to tell you.
More info on AR09 posted now ;)

Indeed it was, for my own sake - heaven forbid I should ever come into contact with northerners
<shudder>
I'd put money on it that Scoobs has already "checked out the camp field" in his usual style. :)

there were indeed, theres plenty of photographic evidence somewhere :p
When you say ripped, how do you mean exactly? Were you, Hovis and Wideboy getting frisky again? I am intrigued how the weather would play a part in all this, perhaps it was the rain? ;)

so when you buying the kitchen sink you seem to have everything else packed there!!

That my friend is the flaw in the plan, I haven't even looked at that and I've already commited myself. I'll get around to looking at prices but as we're not too far would you be adverse to perhaps renting a two bike trailer and sharing the cost? But then we'll have to have a little chat about when we are going.
We have talked about but not decided on, possibly going on Thursday to beat the weekend traffic and leaving on Sunday afternoon.. No decision made yet though, just food for thought.
It'd be nice to meet you too

not definate, but it looks like the mrs might not be coming, she said last night that would i mind if she didnt go, as she has no interest in bikes whatsoever, has never slept in a tent/camped in her life and doesnt know anyone.....and after my explanation of there being plenty of booze still not tempting her its quite possible i may be going on my own...
however....
when the sun starts shining and summers here im hoping for us lot to meet up, ride, pub etc and she may change her mind then hopefully so i cant set anything in stone quite yet bud....

Where'd ya get your seat/table and your stove from stretchie?

I got a reward from work for being a good little corporate who-er which is where I got the stove from, it's great, two burners and a grill I think it's about £50 to buy but I may be wrong. If you are looking at getting one don't forget to budget for the gas bottles, I had to pay a £20-25ish deposit (if I remember corectly) for the bottle then the rest for the gass so it's about £40-45 for the first hit (It'll heat your tent up a treat too) and then about £20 for the refills. Only used it in anger the once but it's great.
The seat and table was from Marcuss Camping in Bitton, Bristol. I looked at a few and they were all really flimsy and wobbly and about £50, this one's quite sturdy and folds up into about an art folder sized briefcase and was £55 in the sale. If you're going to be around up here let me know and you can have a look

I'll take your word for it as your seem to know what your talking about. Back to the original post, I MAY have room to spare in my van or on my bro's trailer that I may be able to pinch for the weekend. Wont know for a little while yet though!

Cool, that's good to know.
I put this on my thread about renting a trailer but may be useful here.
I asked for a quote from Honeywell trailers in Bristol (Cheers RingDing) and they sent me this back
TRAILER HIRE
1 x single motorcycle trailer hire
friday - monday inclusive - £ 80.00 inc vat
straps NOT included with hire
payment and deposit - credit/debit card required
any questions, please contact
HONEYFIELD TRAILERS on 01179 637231
Which sounds good to me, but free sounds better ; )
