What do fellow orgers prefer on their toast in the morning?

I like thick cut orange marmalade on the first slice then crunchy peanut butter on the second.

Raspberry jam with seeds, or crunchy peanut butter. Wholemeal bread with bits in please.

Fresh coffee, warm milk, two sugars.

Proper butter, I do plenty of exercise to not worry about all that crap.

I like butter & raspberry jam with seeds.

I work for Liverpool City Council one day a week - the office always smells of burnt toast. The Chief Exec confiscated all the toasters as the fire alarm kept going off and the Fire Service charged £500 a callout:D

Toast has to be properly brown, not some animic stuff like SWMBO likes.

The allow to cool so that it can be buttered without the butter melting.

Nothing else.

Oh and eat it upside down, - no the toast not you! - so that the butter goes directly onto the tounge. That way you get the taste without needing to put too much on.

I likes my butter - technically marg I am a student after all - melted on its own, toast not too well done, nice thick farmhouse bread. Maybe with mixed fruit jam or ham. Or pate. Red Leicester with Lea and Perrins nom nom nom.

When I do have time for toast it is with Special Edition Marmite with a hint of Champagne , they actually sploshed a bit of Red Wine in it as well and it`s the best Marmite ever , currently on deal in Netto`s at the moment at less than half the asking price that the other Robbing Bastages are charging for it , but I Digress ........

It has to be on good quality bread , especially a Seeded Batch Loaf or Oated/Malted variety .

On toast...
Spread some butter or marj, wait for it and then....are you ready for it......

Sprinkle OXO cube on top. Yep thats righ an OXO cube will do four slices just nicely.

Now, everbody I have served this to has liked it. But I only told em what it was after they tried it (trusting fools eh). This is a family thing and we have been doing it for years.

Im interested if anybody on here will try it because its great. Go on you know you want to.

Can imagine fairly easy  Surprisingly, if you knew what I knew about parasites you wouldn't want to eat any meat, or lettuce and watercress....

But anyway, toast!

She lives with your OTHER housemate and is worried about CJD ???

She's a mad cow I tell ya !!!

I'd be more worried about getting some strange Flesh-Eating bug than CJD from your stories.

NOPE - There is only one thing for toast (well two actually).

Toast must be a little burnt and then spread a really thick spread of Marmite cover with extra mature cheddar and then grill...........

Add pepper if required.
