Right then my problems are that my sv won't start, I had the bike running last week and it won't start now. Just now if i try to start it with the starter botton it just gives nowt but a little wirr and sometimes goes through to 1 fire of the engine but not very promising. Tried charging the battery, even changed it for a new one, but no join. Help Haynes says maybe seized engine:confused::confused:. please give me hope and other things to try.[-o<[-o<[-o<

Battery fully charged?
check the wiring loom on the rear subframe for damage! they are prone to waer through there and it might be shorting out!
Hope: Sounds like starter motor not getting enough juice.
(Presupposing there wasn't a sudden loss of power/sound of graunching metal/ clouds of smoke/ etc before it stopped working)
Would also check connections to starter Relay.

Cheers for the help and advice,
the darn thing started after i told it was going to ripped to peices and checked b y a novice biker. Think i scared it into working. Don't have a clue what happened maybe some kind of connection at the battery area i think.
