K8 restricted ecu

Iv got a restrictor for a sv650 k8 that i wouldnt mind selling and was wondering whether this ecu will work on other pointys? Iv seen people selling their restricted ecus before but i thought that the ecu was linked with the immoboliser and could only be used with the correct key? any info greatly appreciated

Yes it will work on other pointies, they fit any year 2003 onwards.
They sell for about £50 on this forum, thats what i paid for one the other week.

Are you certain about the compatibility? I recall Aye Gees (Kent) claiming that the K7 restrictor they ordered for my K6 (Regged 07) bike was a different fitting.
