Bidding on a GSXR 1000 shock for the SV. Left it to the last second, just to make sure I got it! ... But i missed it, and it was sold for £10. Balls!

i always bid the maximum i would pay for somthing, that way, if i dont win it im not bothered

+1. I can't be bothered with sniping to get the best deal. It's only a deal if it's something I'm willing to pay.

I have found that sending a message to the person and offering hard cash straight away and I'll pick it up always works a treat. Bought 20+ things off ebay now and only have 4 feedback since 2003 :rolleyes:

Latest was a front mudguard for the cbr £20 :-D bargain

haha, I used the same tactic and won something on ebay today, yey! (just to rub it in :mrgreen: - although I don't think you really want some Bourjois eyeshadow lol)
