looking for a good straight bike for my son-in-law He's not long passed his test so nothing whacky just a good clean one with good history got around £1300 to spend
we are based in the West Midlands but dont mind traveling for the right bike

I was watching this one on EBAY, just to see how much it went for. Looks ok and a few new parts. £720 at the moment, with 2 days to go.

Yea saw that one put me off a little being a cat D dont really understand the different cats and what each one means cat C cat D ect

a cat d, is normally cosmetic damage at some stage, looks like a good repair though. shouldent make much, if any difference to your insurence.

Cat C or D is fine to put back on the road and there are some good bargains to be had.

+ 1, they are usually put into that category due to price of OEM parts needed to repair. Use good quality pattern parts and it can cost half the price, or less.
