I recently bought a gear leaver for a K5 650 N,
when i went to fit it the hole where the footpeg bolts to it is too small.
Looking on parts websites it looks like my bike has the earlier one on.

Can anyone confirm what is right

So your lever wraps around the footpeg? This one is smaller in inner diameter and shorter?

Pics of your footpeg hanger area would help.

The new leaver is also shorter

Doesn't look like a Suzuki gear lever.

Does the original one look like a K5.

I don't know what to buy.

That looks like mines..

Orginal snapped off, drilled it, and nut and bolt holds it on..

Dont buy that one, it looks like ****, e.g mine :)

Nope, the pic of the one on your bike looks like a K3.

The new one you posted looks like the K4(ish) onwards... dunno why your bike has the early model hangers and controls.

Cheap suzukis get whatever falls off the shelf that day. Or previous owner crashed.
