Found it so good the first time that I went all 3 days the following year. Can't think of anywhere else that gives the chance to see such an array of vehicles actually in motion. Plus, you get to see it from a hay bale's width away from the track (or rather long driveway as it is).

There's so much exotica that brand new supercars at full pelt can seem dull!

Well worth the cost.

This (http://www.goodwood.co.uk/site/content/breakfastclub/Default.aspx) makes a good rideout too, for any locals. Nothing like FoS but a free trip to stare at pretty things!

:D just a long drive from here - think i'd be tempted to take the car and camp (if there's camping nearby?) :D

Dunno about camping, should be something bearing in mind the location.
The event is absolute Petrolhead Heaven - blew me away the first time we went. The sheer variety of cars and bikes is staggering.
It's well worth the trip mate.

That would be the second best option after riding. The roads are carnage for miles on FoS day. The only way to get around the area is on a bike.

Both the FOS and the Breakfast Club are awesome days out - petrolhead nirvana.

Went to FOS every year 2000 to 2005, however have not made it since - however did make it down to the Breakfast Club a few times last year - a few piccies here:-

Great thing about the Breakfast club is that it is free

I think im going this year and i believe we will be camping. A friend of mine went last year he said it was very expensive, he went in his tranny van and slept in the back.
I have not yet looked at the costs but from what i have heard it totally worth the cash anyway :D
