I checked mine , I bought her in April last year with 7k on the clock , just checked it now and I am so close to 20k I can taste it , I normally have it on trip B for Fuel and trip C for Tyre mileage , can`t say I Mile spot trip A very often ......... in fact I have changed rear tyres more times than I have checked trip A :)

i wish i had the chance to wear out a rear tyre they usually get a feckin screw through em before i wear em out last one was a brand new tyre too.

I`m keeping Schtwm on bike related horrors , I was bigging up my Scottoiler setup the other day and that got nicked the day after .. so me no talky tyres .

Avon Storms have a puncture guarantee in the first bit of the tyre by the way ;)

61,000 on my tiger 1050 since new in march 2007- makes me cringe now as i think of the depreciation, tyres, brake pads, chain kits and servicing costs.

my sv iirc is on 26k now, only got the bike in april and it was on 17k, but i dont check the milage that often, as i have it set to trip b so that i know how many miles im getting to a tank, and i can work it out if i need to buy etty before the light comes on, dont like running out of petty on a motorway when you have 20 miles still to go for work and the exit you want lol

I keep one of my trip meters on. Ever since my petrol light failed and I ran out of petrol and had to push her home. Don't ever want to embarrass myself on a cold winters night like that again.
.....and yes I should have looked in the tank before i left, but remembering to do that in the middle of a set of nightshifts, kinda gets forgotten
I wish I could use the other one for tyres, but I get punctures in too.....and I usually get them just out of the guarantee for the Storms...grrr
