First couple of series were good, then it went rapidly downhill. Won't be bothering.

cannot help but watch it. It reminds the wife of how much better off she is with me.

I thought it was good. Although the talking baby bit was a little weird
I can't watch it. I look at Frank Gallagher and I see me with long hair.

My dad can't watch it but for a different reason: he says the whole programme reminds him of a council estate we once lived on

 I'd forgotten about him. Yeh the earlier series were better when the daughter and her bf were in it. And the couple next door - her name started with a V
Damn my memory is cr@P!! Can't remember any of their names
Veronica? And her bf, who looks scarily like the dude that built the rocking horse last night.. Is it Shane?
I also have a obsession with Skins, i love it :)
Saying that, am still a kid kinda :D
Isn't it funny how most people who watch Shameless think it's a good comedy drama series. But anyone who's ever been to Salford knows it's actually a fly-on-the-wall documentary :D

I believe it is supposed to be set in West Gorton. However the film set is in Wythenshawe.
There is nothing wrong with Salford (that a bloody big bomb cannot cure). As for Little Hulton, go in the off licence on the A6. It is a different world with all the precious things behind perspex and served though a hatch.

I live in Manchester. It's touches a nerve for me I'm afraid. I just need to look out the window for that kind of sh*t
