If anyone needs winter/waterproof boots i can hand on heart recommend the TCX Infinity Goretex boots, i got mine from the NEC & have worn them every single day since to ride to & from work & so far not even a single drop has worked it's way through to my socks.
They scored very highly in some of the motorcycle mags, the main gripe in the article i saw was that they were quite stiff, i just wore mine around the house a couple of times & they were fine to start riding, whilst i admit they are not the sexiest looking of boots they do what they were made for, not cheap i admit at RRP £180 but there are places doing them cheaper, i paid £140 & think they are worth every penny.

You bought boots in November and youa re pleased that they are not leaking in january. Blimey, you must have had low expectations

Goretex boots do seem to have the edge on all the other waterproof boots/clothing. I had a few pairs of the old Lorica(i think it was) lined Sidi Black rains with varying levels of success. I now have Aplinestars SMX Goretex, and they are still fab after 2 and a half years. Also rememebr that most gortex stuff is warrantied for 2 years minimum against leakage by Goretex them selves.

TCX are quality boots, I have some g-tex ones too (not had a lot of use yet). I like them enough to sport a sticker on my bike (Ignore the alpine stars one lol).
