Here are some pictutes from the London Motorcycle show I took today, on my camera phone so the quality is a bit poor (couldn't find my camera this morning).

Mad Art Deco Victory, the ideal thing for a trek across the states.

It's all in the details...

Saxon Turbo, one of the bikes on the classic bike stand. 200 (ish) bhp!

Weirdness personified - the Honda DN 01.

This thing has a V-twin, CVT gearbox, sits like a cruiser, looks like nothing else and costs £9.5k.

Honda VFR800 - colour scheme almost exactly like the original VFR750, 20 years ago. I like it.

1999 Suzuki RGV500

BMW F800R with very low seat option - almost all the BMWs on the stand had the low (and distressingly uncomfortable) seat option, pity, I quite liked this.

Newish Monster 696, again, like this, was quite comfortable and stylish.

Bimota Porn...

And to prove that, once again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder (and not mine!), this was on the Kawasaki stand.

Had a fun day, pity Suzuki weren't there and while there were some bargains, you had to search hard.

Cheers,

Is it worth the trip going there? I don't need any gear right now anyway.

Didnt seem to be that many ppl on thursday ..must have missed the carole nash motorcycle show. Not too much eye candy. Qutie easy to walk around and very relaxed. As mentioned before not many in your face bargains , I wasnt looking to buy any specific gear

I think Gemma looks like the favorite to win mcn babe competion. She looks amazing in person as do all of them.

Cheers for the pics.

That VFR is feckin' gorgeous! I'm a sucka for white wheels, looks 20kg lighter.

I saw the new lovely 696 on a ferry amongst all sorts of bikes........... cos I nearly tripped over it , it is that small. Really teeny!

I went on Fri. I wanted to perve all over the DRZs & GSXRs at the Suzuki stand. But as I was paying for my ticket there was a notice which paraphrasing said, "MCN would like to apologise for stating that Suzuki would be at the event".

I ended up consoling myself with a Rizla basball cap.

Seemed to be good deals on lids etc.

Has the 09 VFR had a subtle redesign at the front end to be a bit less pointy?
