I met up with Thingus this avvy. Went over to Telford, met up at his place, inspected the bike (nice blue curvy, good nick), followed him to Shrewsbury & then Much Wenlock where I took the lead, went to the bike cafe at Quatt. Then back. Gotta say, he is pretty good - no hesitation, good control, not afraid to overtake (and going it some), not afraid of giving it a few beans. You did well, T:D Remember peeps - this is the first time he rode his SV. Did good.

my mate was at quatt today Ed (old guy on a buell xb12r orange/red colour)

There were lots of bikes there - we didn't see a Buell but I wasn't looking for one either - prolly around 30 bikes there today. Used the first entrance as they're digging up the road by the second, big steel plates everywhere, it's bad enough to get into at the best of times. It was a fantastic ride down. And an equally fabbo ride back, I'd sussed out by then that Thingus is not afraid of the right bar nor of overtaking:cool:
