Neither. I reckon the idea of it being bad luck only came about cos someone once tripped over the bloody cat!

Apply the same logic to walking under ladders, stepping on cracks in the pavement etc etc...

Neither, I'd probably stop it in its path and give it a tickle on its back if it was friendly

I had bad bad luck for many years, my cat was black.

Bless her, she lasted till she was 24 though, so bad luck for me, but great luck for her :)

Me too! When I was at uni, Me & Matt used to walk pass this really friendly black cat. It would always come running up to us and let us stroke it. It was very old though but absolutely gorgeous with amazing green eyes. Much more friendly than my cat at home who only loves you when he wants food

all cats are bad luck!

You had a bad experience with cats then?

Indeed, she had a good run.

And we had to put her down too due to dimensia.

Got her when I was like 3 years old. :(

Opening an umbrella inside? You might take someones eye out!
Shoes on a table? Not very hygenic is it?

Bad luck all round....Single Magpies - Salute, avoid walking under a ladder, smashing a mirror and for some but not all avoid walking over 3 drains.

I think it's best to stay indoors, and I'll be fine :D

Just because there are only a few thousand people who are members of the .org doesn't mean it's not accessible to millions ;)

I do prefer dogs but I still couldn't actually hurt an animal let alone a cat  I could hurt a fly though ;-)

Black - good luck, white - bad luck.

My cat has learnt to rattle the letter box when he wants to come in.

Fer chris sake, it's a fecking cat. It didn't ask to be black, it just is. Now shut up and give it some fuss like any good human servant.

Now that is what a cat would say.

I have 5 cats (and 2 dogs).
Only 1 of the 5 is a black cat...and is the nicest one of all.
Deffinately NOT bad luck.

You make your own luck/ bad luck, cats have nothing to do with it as its just an animal! Stop kicking the cat use a laser pen to taunt it, much more fun :-D
