wheat beer

Popped in to ALDI to do the shopping today and noticed a pack of Licher Weizer Wheat Beer and glass , thought I would give it a go .

FIrst Wheat beer drank at room temperature , really cloudy which is off putting and tasted nothing like "normal" beer .
Second wheat beer drank cold and tasted a lot better , its good stuff , feels like you drinking Treebeards brew in LOTR ! I can almost feel my beard growing !

Give some Wheat Beer a try !

erdinger weiss und schwarz ist sehr gut. Wie sagt man das auf englisch?

Last time I had wheatbeer, I was drinking local stuff in cologne sat on the banks of the river rhine... was a right treat after our roadtrip to switzerland :)

ive got some Grolsch wheat beer waiting to be drank when i remember to put it in the fridge! Sounds good though :).

I got the taste for Erdinger when I was working in Switzerland. At a mates wedding in Manchester town hall they had the stuff on a discount price because nobody would drink the stuff. So I ended up getting everyone on my table bladdered on it. I was not popular next day when people found out how it can affect a "digestive transit" to paraphrase a current yougurt commercial.
