i have a 2002 sv 650 and i need a left side rearset (complete with shifter and shifter link)

Generally it's seen as polite to introduce yourself first, however to clarify are you after a rearset (as in aftermarket) in which case what make, or as I suspect a footpeg & hanger (as in comes standard) if so for what model of bike ?

Might be an idea to also add you location to your profile to save everyone asking where you are.

Not that I'm certain, but from the language you used I'm guessing that you're in the US.
You're more than welcome to post here and join in as much as you like, but I imagine your search for parts is more likely to succeed if you used SV Rider (http://forum.svrider.com/) as it's US based, and this forum is predominantly UK based.
