I'm thinking about upgrading my leathers and swapping my HG touring leathers for something that offers a bit more protection.
I really want to get a suit that is CE approved - the whole suit not just the armour. So which brands get their suits CE approved? The only stuff I've found so far is the Halvarssons but i think its only their textile safety system that is CE approved. I'm thinking of getting this for next winter - but i want leather for the coming summer.
Oh and if possible i don't want to spend more than £500. Is that possible?

I know they do CE rating on armour bt wasn't aware they do a suit rating.
You can get a tailor made Wolf suit for £500 -£600, off the peg around £450 - £500 from the shop in Essex - http://www.harpersraceshop.co.uk/. I got a 1 piece made, have a look at the photos on my profile page. They are very good IMO

At a quick peek at their site I'd be tempted by this 2 piece http://www.berik.co.uk/cat243_1.htm or this 1 pce http://www.harpersraceshop.co.uk/cat13_1.htm
expensive shiz thoguh.

You won't get CE approved 2 piece for under 500 quid, that's about the sum of it.
If you spend just a bit more you could buy Scott Leathers from GLF Accessories in Flitwick, Beds.

I think BKS are?
I wouldn't touch BKS with a bargepole since Frank Thomas bought them out.
