A) basseleg THE START
B) bedwas PETROL (no toilets, sorry lisa)
C) sennybridge PETROL/TOILET/DRINK
D) elan vally LUNCH/DINNER
E) crossgates PETROL/TOILET (chance for the northern/midlanders to leave)
F) abergavenny bus station THE END

10am prompt start off in basseleg, then first stop is just 10 miles into the rideout for petrol only
then head upto 100 sheep road, just to do the road then turn around and do it backwards.
then up to sennybridge 12pm for a hot drink and petrol
from there up to the elan vally 2pm for a spot of lunch.
then its a bit twisty, over to crossgates 3.30pm for petrol, and the chance for midlanders to leave (if they want)
finish up at abergaveeny bus station 5pm

all times approx

its a long route,so will be a long day, so lets try to keep the stops short.

try to turn up on time with a full tank, but the first fuel stop is only 10 miles from the start, if anyone needs it, which is for fuel only, not for food

As always we will be using the Drop Off system to mark out route, which will be explained on the day

read this if you are unsure of the drop off system
http://www.gwent-advanced-motorists.org/bikes/drop_off.htm

if you dont want to do drop offs, make sure you dont end up at the front

any one found not doing drop offs will be poked in the eye with a pointy stick

Hope you all have fun guys. Gonna have to miss out on this one. Have lots going on all the way until early July and am also giving a well needed overhaul on various bits of the bike over the early summer in prep for the AR.

1000 sheep road is one of my fav bits too. :D

i may get overtaken on 1000 sheep road, so the plan is to stop where we did last time and wait for everyone. theres a pull in on the right, before the catle grid, there is normaly a ice cream van there (its 6.3 miles from where we join it)

it is a good route........ and you will be safe as BEAR is not comming;)

i would just like to remind people that every junction must be marked, even if it looks obvoius to you, it might not be to the next rider. if you dont want to do drop offs, thats fine, just make sure you dont end up behind me

and i plan to keep the stops short and sweet.

Hovis. I'm going to have to pull out of this one. A mixture of things, but mainly the massive ride in from Nottingham, not Birmingham. Would have meant i'd need to leave at around 6.45 in the morning. Sorry mate, have a great ride though.

Go. I did the first Welsh TT 1 last time. Was a really nice route, and the 1000 sheep road is what everyone looks forward too.

Hovis can only handle a slower pace aswell so no worries on pace either. ;)
