I read about 60% of the mags YC leaves about (Streetfighters and Ride), I probably absorb about 10%
RSPB Birds mag too....NewScientist and National Geographic occasionally if I'm feeling studious :-)
I couldnt possibly say your honour. I claim the 5th amendment...

Surely "read" implies some element of the written word... not just looking at pictures and sticking the pages together lol

I only buy one now if it has an article that I'm interested in. I used to buy TWO and PB quite regularly but got fedup of reading the same road tests all the time.
Motorcycle Sport & Leisure can be good to, bit more of in depth articles and less focus on sports bikes which makes a refreshing change sometimes.
Motorcycle Sport & Leisure has very informative material in it but don't really make for an interesting read. I find that the way Bike, Fast Bikes, Performance bikes are written keeps me better entertained. I prefer Bike primarily.

I like Perf. Bikes. More to the point, I like the photography in PB, and I like how the articles are short so that you can dip in throughout the day in between working and stuff. The level of information is still high though, so I still manage to learn. I also enjoy the reader's custom bikes (not custom like harley, custom like someone builds a really nice YZR lookalike or something, you know what I mean, the specials). And I like how they quite often thrown in bikes that I could afford (ZX7-R's, that kinda thing).
But, that being said, I'm not tying myself to PB. If there is another magazine with a more interesting / relevent article, I'll buy it. I'm not religious about buying magazines either, i'll only buy them when there is something worth reading. I don't fancy reading the 1000's test followed next month by the 600's test then the next month read the nakeds test.
I will be reading about the new R1 though, and look forward to a road test with its peer's, with other road bikes (e.g. VFR etc etc) and hopefully a back-to-back test with the '08 R1
used to read ride and two when i was looking to buy and for the first few months of biking.
then realised they pretty much just regurgitate (sp!) the same old guff on a cycle of 4 months
now dont read magazines. dont have time to be perfectly honest
None. Got fed up reading magazines years ago. They are a total waste of money.

For the bike mags, I get them all sometimes but the one I avoid is Fast Bikes, what a terrible mag... MSL tends to be very well produced, well written, intelligent and informed boredom incarnate... And i just cancelled my Ride sub, it's not exactly bad, it's just boring. Streetfighters and PB are the two I really like though.
But I'm a magazine addict, I get something like 10 monthly mags through the door. Even Golf + and Practical Performance Cars, despite not actually having a car, or for that matter a car licence.
i like what bike when it's out very rarely and ride's alway's a good un i think other than that i'll buy all the rest if bored there never usually very interesting though.

If that's what it takes to get the boys ironing (other than the requirement of running an equal household) ... hell, I'd do it. I don't even have an ironing board myself so... meh. My dad irons because it's his job.
