View Full Version : Ride Out! anyone on the south coast!
wanna come for a ride out some time i live in gosport, i dont know where or when but we can decide that if people want to go and can fit it around when people can make it.
Also if you would like to go any idea's of places to go ect:-D
theres 3 rideouts planned for the next few months

The one for march is miles away i would be knackered by the time i got there i want one that takes about half an hour to get to so that i can have a good ride:)
the severn circuit and welsh TT are about 1½ hours for you to get to, there will be people coming you can meet with on the way
the disorganised rideout should be a bit closer
or plan a route, and start a thread, poeple will come

Hopefully the weather will hold up for it, 10:30 to 11 at loomies, Look for the on sv650 with a nice scrached lower fairing grrrr, had an of the other day only slow speed, have replaced all parts that neeed replacing so should all be good. Also have a better back brake so is all good, how do you take you tea let me know and ill get them in before we go for a ride.

:-DHi guys i may have another route now that i would ike to try out, its a bit longer than the other one, ill check the distance of it and see how long it will take, ill post on here the route and then we can try and decide on a date that would be good for that.

Start from Winchester (king alfreds statue) take the A3090 to Romsey then the A3057 to B2084 under the A303 to the Caf'e that overlooks the thruxton race circuit. then return via the A303 west to beacon hil, tidworth, lugershall and andover. Pick up the A303 then A3057 to stockbridge and finally the B3047 to Winchester.
Just a thought for now let me know, its about 80 miles or so. I think roughly.

i havent ridden this route before it was a route that was given to me, i will try dig out a couple of other routes. apparently it was a route that one of the IAMs groups were going to go on.
Ill get another route that someone suggested to me that is ment to be a realy good route.
if you have any idea's let me know.

The B2084 and the A3057 are decent enough, I'd be happy with that route, just it goes quite a way on the A303 doesn't it? Not that familiar with roads in Hampshire but if people want to do Dorset/Somerset I can recommend some.
If I'm free I'll turn up to whatever, any excuse to be out on the bike :)

is you send me your number ill let you know when and where there is a ride happening, should be one happening next sunday just trying to sort out a route for it. Any ideas for routes help.
