Ive got the suzuki gel seat (from america) and have found that although it seems better than the normal one is still not that comfy. I think it's down to only wearing draggin jeans (or normal jeans). The gel seat does look cooler though :)
just get a set of padded cycling short's and wear them underneath your draggin's same jobs done much cheaper can't say ive ever struggled with the standard seat on long journey's much plusher than some of the sports bike's going round.

You missed this post. Save your self a load of trouble and get this guy to fit a gel insert.

The Suzuki ones are good, but the covers are like sponges. It'll cost you a lot less than getting one from the states, especially as the £ to $ is so carp at the mo.
Get a 2nd hand one of Evilbay and get it recovered with a gel insert if you can't affoird to be without.
Decathlon are good for cheap cycling shorts too

I've got a gel one on my K7, ordered it from ebay from the usa, genuine suzuki, £88 delivered, and what a difference.
Like Maviczap above says though, the curvy ones were made in a sort of absorbent material, which get wet and soak up moisture-however the pointy model ones are just fake leather vinyl so totally waterproof. Mine has made a huge difference-I may now keep my sv!
