View Full Version : It's A Woman's Perogative.
To change her mind:D
When we first bought the Duke I really wasn't keen on the sticker kit, but this morning we've just spent £65 getting two seat units and the replacement fairing panel done at The Image Works.
Graham spent two hours printing the stickers and applying them, and we're really pleased with them. And to think that when we first got the bike Pete had to sit up at night and guard it in case I sneaked down and removed the stickers!
Ok, so they grew on me, and I can't imagine the bike without them now.:p

You don't really notice all the stickers on the bottom when its on the bike though as it curves round to face the ground.
You only really see them when the bike is leaning round a corner and well Pete isn't going quick enough round corners to show them off :)
I am already running Pete you won't catch me :)

Pete won't, but I will!

Was about to say what Britney said about not really seeing them.:D
That place is only down the road from me, you should have said :D
but a bit overboard
The irony lol
the stickers will probably fall off, what with it being a ducati
and they do look a bit chavtastic, in the photo, but look good on the bike*
*good considering its a ducati*
Thank you Hovis.................I think!:p
Looking good :thumright: £65 is a bargain too.
Why 2 seat units:confused:

I like them. Why have you got 2 seat units?
Looking good :thumright: £65 is a bargain too.
We thought so, for the time and effort he put in!
Why 2 seat units:confused:
Ah, well, the stickers on our original seat unit had been marked by the luggage, so we bought a second one to have stickered up to keep for 'best', and would fit the old one for touring..................but, the stickers were so reasonable we had both units done, so now we have two 'best' ones:D
The one with the yellow pad will be the best 'best' one.;)
PS.............we also have a third seat unit for the Dukedolph transformation:p
Looks like a good job done there.
Though I think the black pad looks much better than the yellow pad :p

That is one spoilt bike
Looking very clean and shiny, am surprised you'd even want to use them! hehe can see you now with your collection of cloths and elbow grease just in case Pete rides through a big puddle :p

I prefer the yellow, but at this time of year with sh*tty roads, Pete keeps dragging his boot across it and the yellow would get filthy. We have a white pad too:D

Looks Ace!!!
The racing look works well on the Duke.
Would like to see a couple of pics once you get them fitted as well.
I like the yellow seat best! Can we see a picture of the whole bike together?
This is an older pic, but it shows the kit as it looks.

Well it's closer to that than an SV.
When are you putting a TL motor in it then?

It's just like a big SV................just not an ugly pointy one!:p
And why would we want to put a TL engine in it? The plastice wouldn't fit;)

Looks great Lis - I have to say I wasn't that keen on the stickers when I first saw it - but its "a grower" - I do like it now :)

I'm sorry Paul, but I just think the pointy is ugly. Horses for courses!
