Nasty - you OK hun?

Just a bit shaken up, haven't broken anything luckily. It went ars*, elbow, head kind of thing. Almost the worst part was getting covered in dog sh*t. Very nice:(

It does hurt. You'd think I'd be ok, considering I don't have that far to fall, but I came down with a right thump. I'm actually quite glad I didn't have time to put my hand out to stop myself. Last time I did that a few years ago I broke my collarbone.:(

I should have expected the dog sh*t.............that path is known locally as dog sh*t alley:rolleyes:

I feel for you thank goodness you didn't break anything - I once fell on my coccyx running after my daughter on an icy pavement when she was little, I ended up with a lump there the size of an orange! - add to that falling off the the horse last year and hurting the same place! :( (I missed the dung though lol!)

I did my coccyx years ago slipping on some stairs at work. It really hurts!

I was lucky not to hurt myself more, I think. My back is a bit stiff now, and still got a slight headache, but I'd have been really peeved if I'd ended up like your avatar!

Frozen doggy poo brushes off easier  avoid the fresh stuff

My doggy pulled me over on some sheet ice, looked at me in disgust as i'm sat there on my behind...

and then slipped over himself :D

bless him, he's so big and clumsy.

Awww Lissa glad ya broke nothing, that was from the short fall most probably. Big hugs hope you don't ache too much in the days to come.

I laughed at my colleague the other night, he fell over on ice in front of 4 chavs, he was in full Police Uniform while running after other chavs .... needless to say that hurt in more than one way ha ha ha

Hope you feel better soon.

Well, rather surprisingly, I feel absolutely fine this morning. My back is still a little bit stiff, but that's all.

I've just had a call from Pete though, who has arrived safely at work, to say it's really icy out, and a car had been unable to make a slight turn on the main road out of Rugby and stuffed itself under a lorry. I think I may be very wary walking this morning!

Black ice all over here again. Me and dog were both skating down the hill! Red gave me that look that said 'You want me to go where? Are you mad?'
