having never watched it before, Ive now wated two eps of the new series. I was laughing so hard at it last night watching the catch up.
anyone else like it?
I think the show is pretty funny! some of the stories and stuff are hilarious and the cast is brilliant! oh and I think I love effy!

I was laughing so much when the despitue was settled by eating chillis. hardly realistic, but funny!

yo ps, i dont watch it, never have.....
but ive been on it! £40 to be an extra.....they offered me the role of the one at the bar who kissed nibs/nips...??? something like that the long dark haired one, but as it wasnt any extra money and i thought it wouldnt be very nice for the mrs to watch i declined.....good p*ss up after tho

I used to employ this lad, was a bit of a C*ck jockey to be fair..you know the type wanna be famous for the sake of being famous rather than for any skill, anyways he was on various game shows, big brothers big mouth etc and used to find out about all this carp....he got an email from some website he registered on saying skins were looking for extra's, so he told the whole office, it was only about 5 doors up from my old office (elbow rooms, park street) where they were holding the "auditions"....
so he was going on a lunch time and so was most of the office (its a young office!) so i tagged along...fill a form in, have pic taken, wait to here back, was only me and 1 girl from work out of about 17 that got called back, told where to meet and we both were extras in a rave scene, and i was an extra in a bar scene, you can see me in the mirror lol....and here me shouting!!!.....brad pit need not worry!!!!

ps have u watched all of them?...ive not been watching so dont know which it was...i think it was series 2 but cant find it on you tube....
if you have watched them all its the one where tibs/fibs/nips (something like that) grabs a bloke at the bar and snogs him...camera pans up her leg following his hand up her skirt?...any ideas?

nah got better ones than that mate, had a beer with sting in italy, worked with heartless crew in napa, DJ EZ in napa, mc'd with wiley singing "im sorry..its my fault" in napa to a crowd of over 3000, same with lisa maffia....ok im just showing off now!, the rave scene was in a field, my scene was in a bar but was the same series...ill get back to ya tomorrow should be able to find out!
edit....i forgot my fav!!!..anthonay costa from blue came into a club i was MC'ing in, he is a cnut, tried gettin into my then gf (well...while she was there for her weeks hols lol)..she told me...i made him feel very silly and small via rapping and he left...bye bye ghey boi!

I watch it, saw the first 2 seasons as well (different cast to this series).
I wonder if we'll ever find out what happened to Sid & Cass after the end of series 2? :lol:

This series is my least favourite. I've seen the last two series' and the episodes of the current one and i am dissapointed.
The characters in the other series were so much better, and this series seems so childish. They opened up the first episode with fart jokes?! I can't stand Harry Enfield in it either, i don't think he's funny and he swears too much. A few of the actors can't really act, but some of them are great.
The last episode with Thomas was really enjoyable though.
To top it off though, i'm pretty much in love with Emily :mrgreen:

I think it's shaping up nicely most people just don't like it cause it's so different.
Only things I can complain about (and this is true throughout skins) is I like the surreal humour in some of it but I think they go too far sometimes like effy's cringeworthy best mate and that teacher that was having a nervous breakdown or whatever. I almost came to the same conclusuion about jj but I've decided he's a good'n
me too shame she's a lesbian though.
It makes her more cute though. I think shes just a lesbian because she couldn't get a boyfriend. Besides, shes probably "bi" as the trend is nowadays.

PS, my mrs informed me i was in the first one of season 2, so ive trawled you tube but cant find a full version only small clips and not that bit im in.....if you ever find where it is online let me know and ill point me out!

correctamondo!, bit of a PITA downloading it to the comp...but....
the scene I was in is season 2 episode 1, 12 mins in when it cuts to the bar scene and she says watch this and downs a shot...you can hear me saying "what now, what now" in a proper bristolian accent lol....im in the white shirt stood 2 to the right of her....next to the bird in the red dress...and you can also see me in the mirror behind the bar :D
