I wander what it would look like without that stupid paint scheme on it. Tail section is to low, but I dont think it looks to bad TBH.

Dont think it looks too bad, paint scheme is the only really bad thing about it..

not that bad IMO, better than the standard bike I think (not the colour, the styling)

So SO cool, if it wasn't such a hideous colour.. That in black with white accents or even some ktm orange would look great..

Elasmobranchs need to absorb urea and trimethlyamine N-oxide....:p

Anyway that bike needs a serious makeover. Satin black anyone? hehe

OK the colour is er........challenging, but the longer forks, spoked wheels and shorten tail give it a sort of supermoto look which works well I think.

Like most bikes I tend to look beyond what the factory kicks out, and use that as a base to start from.

That thing is so ugly I wouldn't even park my bike next to it. :puker:

I don't mind it... Painting the frame is what tips it over the edge.

Want to talk about ugly... To my mind the SV is butt ugly with the black anodised frame, black wheels, black everything. It is such a miserable non-colour when it is overused. Its Goth designers were probably in a state of depression. The earlier pointies and all of the curvies were much better looking bikes.
When I find the time, it's coming apart for refinishing.

Cheers

I also like it apart from the colour. Looks like there could be a market for the Gladdy yet.

As others have said, the colour scheme is pants, but I do quite like that.

It's Gladys with balls.

+1 - Anyone else notice the back wheel on the Busa? Looks spokeless..... I like it.

Agree with all regarding the choice of colour... must have been a bargain buy...:)

yep seen the busa before. IIRC its a plastic or somthing that keeps the hub connected to the rim.

i think the idea was taken from harleys

In gloss black it'd look quite good. The colour scheme is rather feminine, but it's not that bad IMO.

EDIT: GF says she likes it. Proof, if it were needed that unlike the SV, the Gladys really is a girl's bike.

What's the point of making SV like a supermoto though, it's too heavy.

Nah. Might look the part but totally pointless.

It's not quite right but it wouldn't take an awful lot to make it good... Apparently part of the brief was for it to be a bolt-on bike, so no totally custom exhausts etc, and it still had to be recognisable as a gladius. So within that I think it's OK.

Indeed, change the colour and it might be a nice bike!
