I have just got my first biker tattoo. I have never found many sports bike tattoos. What's your thoughts on it and does anyone else have a sports bike tattoo?

I notice you got a tat of a pointy though ;)

Secretly wishing you had a good looking bike instead of that old fashioned curvy? :smt019

Don't like it, but thats just personal preference, to me you may as well have had 'mam and dad' tattoo'd.

I like tattoo's don't get me wrong, but I have a friend who wins masses of show titles in the tat world. I prefer something that nobody else has got, not something out of a book, that hes done completely freeform, but with an 8 month waiting list, I can't be bothered!
Main thing is, that you like it, so what peeps say on here shouldn't matter.

I think it looks like a Buell sportsbike especially with the logo underneath.

Like the bike bit, not keen on the script, but what do I know? I have a Harley tat! :takeabow:

Tats are done for you, not everyone else, as long as you like it and are happy with it, then all is good :)

I might get a tatoo, just one of those transfer things.

I'm too much of a wuss to have a real tattoo...or peircings....or...i dunno, anyhting else involving pain.

I'm thinking R1 due to the swingarm/tailpiece.

Tat looks nice, as for the r1 I don't like the swing arm. Looks like a mille one fitted the wrong way ;p.
But that's just me ;)

I'm thinking R1 due to the swingarm/tailpiece.

Actually everyone is sort of right with the design idea. It's a mix of R1, GSXR, CBR-RR. I tried to merge designs so I'm not focusing on one bike because I don't know what bikes I will ride and love in the rest of my biking career.

Its not too bad, not entirely keen on the writing though. I prefer patterned tattoos (i.e. things that aren't of a particular object). However thats just my personal opinion :)

As long as you're happy with your tattoo and like it etc the n it does not matter what other people think :smt040

I like it. I've got one of an Andy Sparrow design, got no pic to post, similar abstract kinda thing. Agree the tat is for you not other people but on the other hand if you had something that made almost everyone point and laugh it'd get old pretty quickly.

The way the swing arm is on that R1 is the same way swingarms are going in MotoGP - bottom braced. Aprilia has it aaaaalllll wrong :smt019

I like the tat - it's cool:cool:

I have to second that, Mine are all freehand work.
Theres nothing worse to tattoo fans than walking towards someone else with the same tattoo as you.

Why does it matter? What's wrong with having the same taste as someone else?!

Very nice mate. Tattoos are individual you pick something you are happy with and ignore all other opinions. Tattoos are like every other hobby, there will always be some form of percieved hierarchy and associated snobbery. Bikes, cars , photography, wine. As for me find what you like and enjoy it.
