Hello All, after a while of using the forum for an invaluable source of info, I've found out how to introduce myself. Getting hold of another bike had been on the agenda for a while, but like most things has been on the backburner for too long, ....until now. I've just got hold of a 98 SV650 X (naked) which I collected all the way from Somerset. It was a long way, but I've kept my eye out for a while, and I'm pleased with the outcome, very happy with it's condition given it's now ten years old (thanks Tony if you're listening, I'll look after her!). I've not ridden it as much as I'd like so far due to the weather, but it definitely goes well and I'm loving tinkering with it. Not much needed in terms of maintenance, the only only thing I've really done so far is the exhaust. I got it with a gorgeous sounding carbon can company end-can, but it was blue! Few hours with paint stripper and wire wool have sorted that. Next thing is the forks which are a bit furred up. Again thanks to all who have made my decision making so much easier by their contributions on the forum, please give me a shout especially if you're in the East Midlands area. Russ
