Evening Ladies & Gents!
Had a search on the forum but there was nothing on this subject.
I know how to fit a Scottoiler and have managed to find the t-piece that I will need for the vacuum hose.
Main question is I have a (99) curvy faired and would like some suggestions on where to mount my RMV.
I would like to get it in the most upright position as possible, so does anyone have any clues?
Pictures would be very welcome.

I'm guessing this is to use the plastic holder that bolts together?

Alright chap. Ive got mine tie wrapped to the rear subframe with that U shaped thingy. If you use the bolt thingy then you will have to space it off the subframe with washers and then it will be hard to fill it up as i will be too far in the rear plastics. Although im sure others have done it. Also YC took a grinder to the plastics so you can top it up without having to take te plasics off.
Oh are you coming ont he hardy bikers run this weekend?

On the left hand side, remove the black side panel beneath the riders seat. Look at the back edge of the frame there are two tapped holes that will accept the mounting bolt that comes with the Scottoiler kit. There are photos of this mounting positions somewhere as hovis says... here it is!

Thanks Luckypants!
I will have a bash at finding those holes. Means I have to buy less spares then too.
AndyBrad. I will probley take that route if I struggle with the bolt on support (I took it in bits being the silly **** I am).
I would love to go on the rideout but alas I'm down in Manchester without the bike on Saturday night and I don't have the money for petrol :(
