Squidney says that if it's the left mirror... take it off, and then it's not an MoT failure.

probably - but take it off and you may be alright (something about things needing to work if fitted, but not required to BE fitted)

Thanks girls. It is the left one. It has already been removed. Isn't it the left one that's required in which case I could swap them over?
