Just bought one of these Tonka toys.

Getting it in April when my bus pass runs out.

Had a demo ride and it will do exactly what it says on the tin, ie get me to work (5 miles each way), with minimal petrol consumption and running costs.

Edinburgh is about to have major road disruptions owing to the new tram system so I thought a wee 125 would be the order of the day.

The bike will pay for itself in approx 4.5 years too.

The Honda dealer said they were selling extremely well, to folk like me in their mid 40s.

All for £1,799 on the road.

Anyone else had any experience of them?

Cheers.

Have ridden a Honda Varadero 125, now that looked like a big bike, and felt like one too, its a lot taller than the CBF and its a V-twin :)

Welcome to the 125 club mate. I've been commuting for two years now on a Hyosung 125SM. It's a single cylinder offroadish bike converted to street wheels by the factory to look like a supermoto. It's reliable and cheap to buy and run, I average about 20miles a day, goes up to about 60-70mph and it's been great. Honda should be better I think, maybe a bit smaller in size than the Hyo.

Well I toyed with a black one, but just had to get a red one.
