Where is the stay kept? Read somewhere its under the rear seat but can't find it? :confused:

under the pillion seat, just a piece of rod.

Yep should be under the rear seat. IIRC its off to one side, but I cant remember which, its a slim metal bar / rod with a twist at each end.

it should be in the the side tucked in the recess of the rear seat, on the lock side. There should also be a little white plastic clip there too, to keep it in place. If not, you can get them cheap enough on the bay deevil

the tank prop, not the plastic clip ;-)

Seems the previous owner has binned the bloody thing. Oh well I'll get the good lady to hold the tank up while I tinker about!

Or just chop a bit of wood to suitable length and use that...

Get an old metal coat hanger and manufacture the said piece of rod

or....tie a strong piece of string, to your tank when its not so full in the holes where your bolts were, and tie the string to your grab rail.....thats how we prop up the Vraptors tank.
