View Full Version : Rear footpeg camera mount
I have a rear footpeg camera mount for a pointy for sale. It might fit a curvy but I don't know the hole gap so can't say for sure.
here is a link, although it says it is for a Honda it does fit the SV. I will add a piccy of it fitted later.

The reason I am selling is I prefer filming from the tank area.
I would like £30 plus postage or could meet up localish or at The Shire and Soho.
This would be ideal for track filming.
Pictures of it fitted with my camcorder....camcorder NOT included...:)

Do you have any footage to see what view it has?
No, not at the moment.
If you "need" some I will take some.
There are some clips on the website. It depends on what camera you have aswell. I think the better footage is rear facing but you have to be at the front of the pack......

can a pillion still go on with the camera attached?
as i go 2 up quite a lot but otherwise am interested in this!
Adam
Hmmm, I doubt it. I reckon they would get in the way as the bracket pretty much replaces the rear peg.

i'll have to pass then as the missus won't like the fact she can't go on the back and filming ain't that important to me!
thanks though
Adam
And another bump.
Any track day junkies interested ???

Could you get a video of what it records facing the front?
I'll try and get one done for you.

I'd be interested if anyone has any footage (goes off to scower youtube) also how easy is it to take off/ put back on. Is it just a case of a couple of bolts?
I can't let it go for £20 unfortunately.
Have you seen what these cost ??
http://www.sportbikecam.co.uk/sbcorder.html
Dave, it is a case of undoing two bolts to take off completely or you can leave the "V" part on and just undo one bolt. Or, you can leave the majority of the bracket on and just take the camera platform off by undoing one bolt.
I have footage rear facing and could upload front facing but for some reason it takes me forever to upload.
Have you seen the rear facing footage ??

Yes he did. :)
And he changed his name again for some reason
Got to keep people on their toes so can't keep the same name too long. Also, I prefer Furry Ginger One to FG1.

Never fear I'll make a thread on my home made camera mounts tonight if possible.
