Motrax relay - no flash.

I've just fitted a motrax 'flash it' relay to cure my fast flashing indicators.

Popped the terminal out of the relay block for the brown and light blue wire, connected the black on the relay to the light blue, and red to brown.

Now the indicators come on, but dont flash.

Is the relay knackered or am I doing something wrong?!

Is it connected properly? If yes then it would seem the 'flash-it' doesn't

How annoying.

Just to confirm, the pale blue wire has a pale dot on it, is that right? There are also 2 darker blue wires.

Anyone? The wires dont need to reconnect to the original relay do they? Its 2 wires out of old relay and into new relay.

If I get a relay for another fitment, ie not the universal one, can I chop the terminals off and use it? Is it still the same item but with different connectors?

Could you have the positive and negative mixed up (either on the relay or the indicators...more likely relay).....it's not unknown :-dd
