Hi,
I want to change my front indicators on my SV650s 1999.
Has anyone got any ideas which ones are best and how to best fit them as there is the big hole to fill?
Have some smaller carbon one on the back and would like to put the same on the front.
Thanks

Carbon ones look a bit chavy I'm told, I've got mini black indicators and they look fine, better than OEM.
You need some of these Indy spacers to fill the gap in the fairing. Ignore the fact that they aren't listed as fitting our model SV. They are the correct ones, all the others are for Pointy SV's.
Then you can fit whatever aftermarkt indicators you want

Or you could fit some of these although they may not be as visible as a sticky out indicator.

To save cutting the wiring, Motrax also do some little wire adaptors which plug straight into the Suzuki plug, but have female bullet connectors for joining aftermarket indicators which tend to have bullet connectors.
I'll try and find the Motrax code for this.
Hope that helps

Thank brilliant info, thanks.
I will buy the spacers today, do they come with instructions or is it obvious how they fit?
Dont really want to go for the small flush ones as want to make sure they are seen.
Maybe go for the black arrow head type?
Thanks again for your help.

P.S any photos of some fitted would help?

Hi Sandra,
Yes spacers are straightforward to fit, one either side.
One is, flat that goes on the inside of the fairing. You get four spacers in a pack, two flat & two raised.
Then your mini indicator has a bolt that you tighten against the spacers.
I'll upload some pictures later, mine are black arrow type

Here's pictures as promised, sorry it took so long, but busy busy busy.
Ignore the fact that the Indy spacer is white, I had to fabricate one, as my original one disintergrated. But the method is the same.

Thats brilliant, thank you so much and for taking the time to help me out.
The spacers came last night, just need to get some indicators now.
Should I go for the longer ones on the front and shorter ones on the rear?
Thanks again for your help.

H'mm don't know Sandra, both my front and rear indicators are the same length.
Best advice is to see what they look like and whats the best for visibility
