A mate of mine is emigrating to New Zealand (lucky goit) and I've volunteered to sell his 600 Bandit. It's on a 'T' plate ('99) and has done approx 17,500 miles, he's the 2nd owner. MOT until June 09, Tax until end of April 09. It's got a fresh pair of BT021's fitted and a new chain and sprocket set. Head race bearings have also been replaced in the last 1000 miles. It had an oil and filter change recently too. Receipts available for most of the work.

It has a few stone chips in the paintwork but nothing major and the seat could do with recovering. Overall finish is good (considering it is a Suzuki!).

£1300 open to offers.

That must be the world's only bog stock standard Bandit, a real rarity.

I've only really got one other. I'll pop it up later this evening.

He isn't into bling! The only non-standard thing I can think of is the Oxford heated grips!

It's not immaculate (although ti looks not far off in the photo's) but I think it is in good condition for a ten year old bike. I would expect it to be maintenance free (apart from scheduled services) for the life of the tyres at least (~8,000miles).

I'll try to get some more photos at the weekend.

Decided not to wait until the weekend after all. Apologies for the lack of artistic impression. The garage is a bit cramped!

Honest assessment of cosmetic condition is as follows:
Wheel finish in good condition, no chips.
Chrome in good condition, no rust on forks, pin*****s of rust on chrome bits of Headlamp brackets.
A little rust on the bottom yoke, frame has no rust that I can find.
The finish on the engine cases has a few blemishes, these show up well in the photos thanks to the flash.
There is a scuff on the front mudguard where a bike got dropped on it at work.
Tanks has some stone chips, black tape 'hides' some scratches from a zip.

Like I say, I think that is good for a ten year old bike. My K3 SV is in worse condition and that is not four years old (it's on an 55 plate) and it's been garaged!

If I can give any more information then let me know.
