Hello All,

I have a Sv650s K2, and i was just wondering if anyone knows where i can get a Gel seat for it. I have been riding this for about 6 months and i love it, but long journeys is a killer.

Many thanks.

have to be evil bay I'm afraid. Suzuki OEM gel seats are getting a rarity, and Corbins are more so. I have both. If you do chance to find a OEM one, I would have it recovered asap, as the fabric cover gets very wett and feels like an overfilled nappy :-(
Otherwise they are great!

OR you could send a standard seat to Tony Archer, who will pull it apart and insert a gel thing under the cover. Does a very good job and highly recommended by my other half. I'm sending my gel seat to him to be recovered shortly

i've used Custom Motorcycle Seats in coventry a couple of times, great service, post yours there with about £100 and you get it back within a week with a gel insert, re-uses the same cover and you can get it made a bit lower or higher at the same time 02476 665203, theyve got a web site too

had a go at this today and results seem to be good, just need a staple gun now to put it back together!

Here are some pictures:

This is what you'll start with,

Then after cutting/ripping out the foam and trimming the gel you get this.

And once covered over you get this!

Obviously thats not the finished article as ive not attached the cover again but it should smooth out nicely and seems a good improvement but only time in the saddle will tell!
